Arrghhhh!!!

That is an understatement.

I work in sales. Software sales. Most people are at least reasonably polite and professional even if they don't like salesmen. I'm also not your typical sales guy. I know the product I'm selling, I'm extremely curteous and considerate, and I'm not high pressure. High persistence yes, but I don't try to strong arm anyone into anything.

So I call and email this guy a couple of times each within the past 5 days. My usual routine. I have not reached him so in my last email I mention that I tried to call him, but the receptionist said email is the best way to reach him. He responds:

"I will contact you IF I need something.
Your uninvited persistence is not welcomed"

I'm all for leaving people alone when they tell me too, but I really think that a small amount of curteousy is not a big deal.

So I just spent 15 minutes trying not to sign him up on lendingtree with a huge salary, and a need for a new home in the next 30 days.

...Lord help me, turn the other cheek.
